These last months we sadly had to spend our time at home, but there are some amazing things that came out of this.

The first amazing thing was getting to spend some time with family that I may have not been able to spend with them. I have also really enjoyed learning how to do some arts and crafts that I don’t think I would’ve taken up  at school, like embroidering. Another great thing is that I can spend more time doing things I love, like baking. I think baking and doing arts and crafts during this time is good for me because it helps me get off the electronic that I’m using and it really just helps me stay happy and doing things that I love. I love that we get to spend more time outside so that I personally, can go camping and to my cabin more often during the school year. One of the great things is being able to communicate with your friends and family online so that we can stay in touch while still social distancing!

These are my reasons of why spending all this time at home really wasn’t too bad!

Quelque chose qui me rende different de les autres est que je fais la natation synchronisée. C’est comme le ballet mais dans l’eau! J’ai fait la natation synchronisée depuis 2017. Quelque chose que j’aime beaucoup a propos de la natation synchronisée est que ton équipe commence d’étre comme ton deuxième famille. Un autre chose que j’aime beaucoup est quand j’atteint mon but que jai mis au début de l’année. Je suis très fière de mon équipe de 2019-2020 parce que nous avons gagner premier place dans notre dernière competition. Je suis très triste que cette année etait plus court parce que cette année était ma première année de faire le synchro competitive. Un de mes buts que j’ai atteint cette année est que j’ai gagner 4 competitions et mon but était de etre le plus bon que je peux étre. En conclusion, j’aime la natation synchronisée beaucoup!  Merci de lire ma blogue et bonne journée!

 Un de mes passions est de faire le cuisson. Un de mes choses préférée de faire sont les petits gateaux. J’aime le cuisson parce que cest amusant. Je ne suis pas tres bon a décorer les choses mais c’est amusant quand meme. Je pense que la chose préférée de les autres que je fait sont les brownies. J’ai commencer a faire le cuisson en 2019 et maintenant cest quelque chose que j’adore faire! Je pense que mon gateaux préférée est le velours rouge. Quel est ton gateaux préférée? Je veux VRAIMENT faire un grand gateaux mais je nai pas un raison de faire un:( merci pour lire ma blogue et bonne journeé! 

Today I’m going to teach you how to embroider. You will need some embroidery thread, a sewing needle, some scissors, fabric and you can buy or make your own embroidery hoop. 

Step 1. First start by drawing your design on the fabric and then you have to split your thread in half. 

Step 2. Start by threading your needle. Then you can start embroidering your design. There are a lot of different stitches that you can use too. 

Step 3. After your done your design, make sure to knot your thread so it doesn’t come apart! 

Step 4. Take the embroidery hoop off of your design and you’re done! 

Remember: it will take some time to get really good so I recommend that you start with an easier design so have fun and try your best!

 

 

 

My book is Summer Ball by Mike Lupica. The main characters in my book are Danny Walker, Richie Walker, Will Stoddard and Rasheed Hill along with all the other basketball players and coaches. This book has 244 pages and 26 chapters.

About the book:

Danny Walker is a basketball player and he is very short for his age. He wants to have a growth spurt because he thinks it will make him better at basketball.  He and his best friend Will go to a basketball camp called Right Way. The person that started this camp is a former NBA player, Josh Cameron. Danny is worried to go to camp because the camp is for elite basketball players but he doesn’t think he’s good enough. When he gets there, he realizes that he is not the only one that doesn’t believe in themselves. He made friends at the camp with a kid named Zach, who is younger than him. He eventually has to play some basketball with some older kids there and what he didn’t know is that his enemy was there too…

My favorite part

My favorite part is when Danny has to play against his enemy, Rasheed Hill. They go one on one and Rasheed completely destroys Danny by dunking on him and winning the game. I like this part because it is very funny.

My recommendation

I recommend this book to people who love basketball and like adventure. This book is suited to ages 10-15.

Il a aussi allée au un camp.    FIN :  Il a choisit a dormir avec quelqu’un qui s’appelle Brad. Brad parle en dorment. Ils ont fait beaucoup de choses comme le kayak, le natation et beaucoup de autre choses. LA FIN!

Impressions/opinions /connections

Les connections que j’ai eu avec ce livre sont que Tom est aller au un camp et j’ai aussi aller au un camp. L’autre connection est que Tom a un sœur plus âgé et j’ai un frère plus âgé et les deux sont très grincheux.

Recommendation

Je recommande ce livre aux les personnes qui aime aventure et les histoires drôles.

Parce que ce n’est pas le livre le plus intéressant du séries de Tom Gates.

1. Je mesure presque 5 pieds 7, ce qui est vraiment grand pour mon age.
2. Je fait la natation synchronisée et jai 4 rubans de première place et 1 ruban de deuxième place.
3. J’adore cuisiner et faire le cuisson. Ma chose préférée à cuire est les petit gateaux.
4. Je joue basketball et sa cest ma premièr an de jouer.
5. J’aime paindre beaucoup. Ma photo préférée que jai fait est un yeux.
